Jazz MusiciansWelcome to our jazz musicians page. Part of our aim is to act as a vehicle for those who are new to the scene to showcase their talent. You will also find information about some of the most celebrated artists, which should provide interesting reading!One of my all time personal favourtites is trumpeter, Chet Baker, who I think remains one of the most introspective and lyrical players to date. He had a fluid style, was an intelligent improviser and had a great voice to boot (don't you just hate people like that!). Unfortunately, his life story was not as romantic as his playing, and his life was cut tragically short in 1988. You can read more about that here. This site is brand new and we are working hard to keep you updated with news and information about jazzers past and present.
