Jazz music makers is all about the people who have and are continuing to shape the world of jazz. Here you will find information on how it came about, what makes it unique and where you can experience it for yourself. We will also share with you our news and knowledge of some of the greatest jazz singers and musicians, past, present and future.
Though there are lots of websites out there with information on this great style of music, this site was developed to give you a personal insight into the world of jazz. You see, I have been a jazz pianist for (ahem!) many years now (!), in fact you could say that it is in the blood. My father was a pianist, as was my grandmother, (she used to play for the silent movies) my sister is a jazz singer and my brother plays bass.
My hope is that this site will provide useful information about jazz, but will also help along some of its new faces and talent.
We're very much at the early stages at the moment, but as the site evolves you will see that this is going to be an invaluable resource for musicians, singers, students and all lovers of jazz!
